Green Tractors along with Trent University are happy to host the first East/Central Precision Ag Summit in Ontario. This one-day event will feature interactive presentations from experts in precision agriculture and agronomy as well as a mini trade show setting that will offer producers the opportunity to network with others in the east/central Ontario agriculture sector who have an interest in sustainable farming practices, technology adoption, and data-driven decision making.

OSCIA 2018 Annual Conference February 13-14, 2018 

The 2018 Annual Conference is being held at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn, located in London, Ontario on February 13-14, 2018. All members are welcome to attend, so please visit this link to register.

This year is full of engaging speakers and interactive panel discussions on soil health and the influence of diversity in the farming community.  If you’re interested in moving a resolution at the meeting, please fill out a resolution form. Northumberland Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting has been set for Thursday, December 14th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and will be returning to Codrington once again this year.

This year’s guest speakers will include Mike Cowbrough of OMAFRA, on Weed Resistance; Jasen Deveau, OMAFRA on chemicals and spraying tips; Stephen Kells, the Market Analyst for P&H; Ross Wilson from Ausable Bayfield CAon Measuring Soil Health at the farm and watershed level; and Christine O’Reilly, OMAFRA, the Forage & Grazing Specialist.

IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE MEETING, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, is an open house on the Ontario Soil Strategy. This is your opportunity to discuss with OMAFRA staff and provide important input.
